What is an escape room?
Valley Escape's Escape Room is a story-driven immersive puzzle-solving experience. An escape room is sometimes referred to as an escape game, puzzle room or exit room. It's a game in which a team of players hunts for clues, solves puzzles, and completes tasks in a room in order to accomplish a set goal in a limited amount of time. Escape Rooms provide a fun and challenging experience that's great entertainment for groups of family or friends, and ideal as a team bonding session. Many people love the thrill of completing an Escape Room and search for their nearest one whenever they find themselves in a new location!
Who is the game suitable for?
We worked hard to create a game that is suitable for everyone. If you have a small team or a large one, if you're experienced or it's your first time, the adaptive nature of the game means that you should have just the right amount of challenge. The game is suitable for all ages and you don't need any prior knowledge or experience. We designed the game to work for all teams, so it's good for kids and couples, large teams and escape room professionals. The largest number of players we've welcomed into the room is 14! We recommend players are aged 10 or above to engage fully with the puzzles, though many younger children have played and loved it. There's nothing scary, no crawling and no heavy lifting — just puzzles, teamwork and a ticking clock. Teams with a mix of skills tend to do best, so bring your most logical friend!

Am I really locked in?
No. We understand that some people feel claustrophobic or simply need the loo, so you're never actually locked in. An unlocked door also helps us to satisfy our Health and Safety requirements!

We're a live event so payments are non-refundable, but we'll always reschedule your booking if you give us at least 72 hours' notice. Please take a moment to read our full Terms and Conditions on the booking page.
Is your escape game suitable for kids or school groups?
Yes — and we offer subsidised rates for school visits and can adapt elements of the game to complement what your group is currently studying. The puzzles naturally cover literacy, numeracy, critical thinking and teamwork. Our game has been designed to be great for kids as well as adults, and our proactive hosting ensures that children's groups can enjoy an experience that's both fun and educational.
