By booking a game at Valley Escape, you confirm that you have read and agree to the following terms.

1. The Experience

Valley Escape involves spending up to one hour in an enclosed room with your group. Please consider this before booking:

If any member of your group has claustrophobia or a similar fear of enclosed spaces, please let us know before your game. We may need to adapt or decline participation for safety reasons. We cannot accept liability for any distress or injury arising from non-disclosure of this kind.

For fire safety, lighters, matches and all other fire-lighting materials are strictly prohibited inside the room and must be left outside before entering.

2. Health & Fitness

The game involves a degree of physical and mental activity. It is your responsibility to ensure that all members of your group are fit and well enough to participate.

3. Younger Players

Players under 16 may take part without an accompanying adult present in the room. In these cases, one of our hosts will remain in the room throughout to guide the group. If your booking includes players under 16, the person who made the booking is responsible for ensuring the whole team understands these terms and follows them throughout.

4. Confidentiality

To preserve the experience for future players, everything you encounter inside the room — the design, the puzzles, the clues and the story — must be kept confidential. Please do not share details of the game on social media or elsewhere.

Recording equipment, mobile phones, cameras, paper and writing instruments are not permitted inside the room during the game.

5. Liability

Valley Escape cannot accept liability for personal injury, loss of life, or damage to personal property during your visit. You agree to cover the cost of repairing or replacing any part of the room, fixtures or fittings damaged as a result of your group's actions.

6. Alcohol & Drugs

Our game hosts reserve the right to refuse entry or end a game early if any participant appears to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs on arrival, consumes alcohol or drugs on the premises, or fails to follow instructions from the game host.

7. Photography

We take a team photo at the end of every game. We retain ownership of these photos and may share them with you by email, post them to our website, or use them on our social media pages. If you would prefer your photo not to be used in this way, simply let us know before or after your game.

8. Group Bookings

If you are booking on behalf of a group, you are responsible for ensuring that all members of your group are aware of and agree to these terms.

9. Cancellation by Valley Escape

From time to time we may need to cancel a booking at short notice. We will always do our best to reschedule to a date that suits you.

10. Cancellation by You

Bookings cancelled more than 72 hours before your game time can be rescheduled to a mutually agreed alternative date. We are unable to offer refunds. Bookings cancelled with less than 72 hours' notice cannot be rescheduled or refunded.

11. Booking & Payment

Game prices are priced according to the number of people playing:

Once you submit your booking, we will send a payment request by email. Payment must be received by 9am on the day of your game. Your booking is not confirmed until payment has been received.

It is essential that you provide a correct and valid email address when booking, as this is how we will send your payment request. Please check your spam folder if you don't receive it. If we are unable to reach you and payment has not been received by 9am on the day of your game, we cannot hold your slot. For same-day availability, please call us on 07446 174218.

We reserve the right to update our pricing at any time.

11.1 Promotions

We occasionally run special promotions offering reduced game prices. If you have a promotional code, please enter it in the comments section of the booking form. Promotions can be used instead of, but not in addition to, any other existing offers — whichever results in the lower price. All promotions are subject to a minimum game price of £40 and proof of eligibility may be required for age or occupation-related discounts. Current promotions and codes are listed on our Promotions page. Misuse of a promotion — for example, using a weekday discount for a weekend booking — will result in the difference being payable before your game begins.

11.2 Gift Cards

Gift cards can be purchased on our website and on-site. To redeem a gift card, please enter the code in the comments section of the booking form. Gift cards are valid for 18 months from the date of purchase, or until the venue closes — whichever comes first. In the event of a closure, at least 28 days' notice will be given on this website and our Facebook page.

12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms and conditions at any time. The current version will always be available on this page.
